Science and spirituality are constants in Pablo Armesto’s work through the use of light. Light is an element of energy transmission and its absence is synonymous with the opposite. As occurs with oxygen in living beings, it is a vital element, but both its lack and its excess cause death. All cellular organisms need some of these components to a greater or lesser extent.

The exhibition brings together sculptural and photographic work that accounts for certain elements shared by the artists, such as the play of light and shadow in Pablo’s sculptures, the characters or subjects in José Manuel’s photographs, and the filling in the sculptural structures of Juan. Thus, they prioritize the light that radiates from their works, giving rise to a poetics of memory.
