Bio

Fernanda Carri (Mexico, 1995) has an intimate practice that spans through painting, sculpture, ceramics, and textiles, exploring themes from dreams to biographical narratives. She initially studied architecture before fully dedicating herself to two- and three-dimensional visual arts. Carri has showcased her work in galleries across Mexico, the US, and Italy. Influenced by artists such as Louise Bourgeois, she draws inspiration from confessional art, blending visual purity with phrases that intentionally reveal the private self. In 2021, Carri was awarded the Massimiliano Galliani Prize for Drawing.
