Bio

Paloma de la Cruz was born in Malaga, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Master’s Degree in Artistic Production.
She is currently completing her PhD at the University of the Basque Country. She resides and works in Madrid where she has participated in national and international fairs such as the ARCO Fair from 2020 to 2023 and the Estampa Fair from 2021 to 2024, as well as in ARCOLisboa in 2022.
In addition to being an Artist in Residence at the “Córdoba Contemporary Art Center” in 2019, she has enjoyed stays such as “Térmica Creadores” in Malaga, “Ifitry Residence” in Morocco, “Contextile” in Porto or “Dekandoo” in Senegal.
She has also been part of different competitions and group exhibitions, such as the “XVI Certámen Unicaja”, “La iberoamericana de Toro”; the collectives “New Entries” (Galería T20) and “Descripción de un Estado PHYSICAL” (Galería Elba Benítez) the collection “NEIGHBOURS IV” (Centro Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga) and first prize in “Málaga Crea 2019”.
She has held individual exhibitions in museums, galleries, and centers such as the Center Pompidou Málaga and the Museo Casa Natal Picasso, the T20 Gallery, at the Párraga Center in Murcia or the Espacio INICIARTE in Córdoba.
Her work is part of CAC Málaga, DKV Collection, KELLS Collection, Sorigué Collection.
